Golf Operations Assistant
We are seeking a proactive and customer-focused Golf Operations Assistant to join our team. This is a varied and rewarding position involving golf bookings, guest support, administration, and occasional work in the pro shop. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail, and a genuine passion for delivering outstanding service.
Job Type
Full-time / Part-time (include whichever applies)
Key Responsibilities
Manage tee time and golf break bookings for members, visitors, and hotel guests
Provide a professional, friendly, and efficient service in person, by phone, and via email
Assist with the coordination of society days, competitions, and group events
Support the pro shop with retail sales, stock control, and daily operations
Handle general administration, payments, and record-keeping
Work collaboratively with the hotel and golf professional teams to ensure a smooth guest experience
Skills & Experience
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Confident using booking systems and Microsoft Office
Previous golf, leisure, or hospitality experience preferred (training provided)
Strong organisational skills and a can-do attitude
Flexibility to work weekends and early/late shifts as part of a team rota
