Hole Two

The first hole on the Dunes is one of the most challenging holes across all of Prince's, a par 4 measuring 454 yards which doglegs sharply from right to left. The ideal line is just to the left of the bunker in the middle of the fairway, the player then has to find the narrow green with a long iron or wood. The green, which is shaped like an upturned saucer, falls off on each side of the green and is not easily hit but offers the golfer a good birdie chance if they succeed in finding it.

Pro’s Tip

“The toughest hole in my eyes on the whole site. Try to drive the ball right of the bunker and then an approach up near the green and try and chip and putt."

Rob McGuirk

Director of Golf at Prince's Golf Club
