Bird Life at Prince's

We are delighted to report a new bird life sighting on the newly created wetland areas at Prince's this week; Two Mute Swans.

In 2019 we noted there were a pair of little grebe (sometimes referred to as a dab chicks), a great egret and a common snipe. These were all are new observations for one of our members who is a keen ornithologist. We have had a sighting of a little egret during the past 5 years but the great egret is a great addition. Then, of course, the interesting sighting huge flock of about 30+ snow buntings on the fairway (we normally see just one or two), they have been seen along the beachline too.

We are thrilled by all of these sightings and proud of our work with Natural England which further supports our GEO status.
