In keeping with other 'links' courses of similar stature, Prince's offers excellent playing conditions, especially in Winter, when many inland courses are closed due to flooding.
Membership at Prince's offers the opportunity to play competitive golf almost every weekend of the year and the use of an inexpensive restaurant every day of the week, with occasional social events for Members and their guests. The practice facilities are extensive and include driving range, putting and chipping greens and bunker facilities. Members are also entitled to sign in three playing guests at any one time for half the fee of the day.
You should be aware that Prince's Golf Club Membership is in three categories:
Category A Membership is for play limited to 52 rounds per year and this is the only category available to new members in their first year.
Category B Membership is for play limited to 104 rounds per year and this may be offered as an option after 12 months of membership.
Category C Membership is Full Membership of Prince's Golf Club which offers unlimited play and may be made available to Category B Members.
Prince's Golf Club operates a Clubhouse facility Levy which applies to all Members. A payment of £100 is credited with £110 in the Members' account and is available to purchase food and drink within the Main Clubhouse subject to certain conditions.
The initial joining fee for Category A Members is £400 in addition to the annual subscription specific to your category. Thus a local man who wanted access to the course at weekends on a 52 round option would pay a total of £400 joining fee, £1,017 annual subscription and £100 Clubhouse facility levy, totalling £1,517.
Country Membership over 45 miles. New for 2007, Country membership is available to golfers living more than 45 miles from Sandwich for just £401 (joining fee £250).
